Admiring the Sea Dragon

Reef Tunnel, Shark, Undersea Garden

From Sentosa, we proceeded to Westin Stamford to meet Mel and Erwin for dinner. On the way to Chijmes, we did some picture taking (of course!). You're supposed to see Raffles Hotel in the background but my camera's internal flash wasn't strong enough to illuminate it.
Chijmes stands for Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (des Minimes?). "What was once the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus(CHIJ) and the seat of education for generations of Singapore girls, has been converted into a plaza of theme retail and F&B outlets interspersed with ample outdoor spaces and courtyards, cloistered walls and long, covered walkways" (see http://www.chijmes.com.sg/flash/aboutus.htm). Below is the church which has been converted into a banquet or sometimes even a concert hall. I should've shifted the camera's angle so the chandeliers are seen. The first and third pictures were taken using a slow shutter speed. ![]()

I asked everyone to sit still for one second but Tita Tess moved too soon so I had to take another shot this time, no breathing! Better, huh?
Our dessert (yum yum!)
