As a salute to all true anglers in Singapore, this page will be dedicated as a showcase of all exceptional fishing accomplishments from our local waters that have been recorded by the Haven since its inauguration in 1997.

Boat Fishing Section

 

Ben Chong struck his payload with a stupendous 10kg Top End saltwater barramundi (Lates calcarifer).

Ed Heyzer with a once-in-a-lifetime 6.5kg Black Jewfish (Sciaena dicanthus) also from the Top End.

 

 

 

 

Dominic with a 4kg Queenfish (Chorinemus lysan) from our Changi coastline taken on a slowly retrieved live prawn.

Conrad with an easily 3.5kg Silver Grunter (Pomadasys hasta) during a night trip around Pulau Ubin.

 

 

Conrad with an unbelievable 15kg GT (Caranx ignobilis) during another nite trip near Tekong.

Frank with a supposedly 3kg Estuary Cod (Ephinephalus tavina) from Pulau Ubin waters.

  

Edmund with an uncommon Spotted Spanish Mackeral (Scomberomorus lineolatus) from the Sultan Shoals.

Vivken with a 4kg Golden Trevally (Gnathanodon speciosus) from the Southern Islands.

  Guru Ahmad with a good size 3.5kg Threadfin Salmon (Eleutheronema tridactylon).

Ed holding up a nice 4+kg Mangrove Jack (Lutjanus argentimaculatus).

Sonia's first Golden Snapper (Lutjanus johnii).

Vivken with kembonged Flathead (Platycephalus indicus).

Ah Wong with a 1 kg Sicklefish.

Landbased Section

Lee Bajin with a rarely caught 2kg Threadfin Salmon (Eleutheronema tetradactylon) from a local jetty.

Conrad again with a 2.5kg Barramundi (Lates calcarifer) from one of our featureless breakwaters.

 

 

 

John Paul Low and his magnificient 13kg Bedok Jetty Cobia (Rachycentron canadus).

2kgs of prime Mangrove Jack (Lutjanus argentimaculatus) landed by Cephas.

Gene Tan with a nice 3.2 kg Barracuda from the breakwaters on a 12 lb line class baitcasting outfit.
