Mr Ng and Mr Koh's Restaurant!

Hey, most of you will already know by now that Mr Ng and Mr Koh are setting up a restaurant this year, and it is expected to be opening by Mid-May, or latest Early-June. What do you think that they will call it? Any ideas, humourous or serious, send them in and we can suggest it to them. The location is at the building between Crown centre and Serene Centre. For those who are familiar with the area, it's that strange appliance/bathroom shop that's making way for the restaurant. Of course we'll all be expected to patronize it. Do you think we can apply for student discount cards? Anyhow, we will have a gathering there for all those around just after it opens. A little update, for those who have passed by the shophouse, the renovation works are going full steam ahead, can't wait!

Steven's Headed for Wesleyan

Our dear friend Kok, has received a scholarship from the university to study economics, and will be pursuing his further education there. He'll be going there in August or so, but for now, is hanging around and giving tuition till late May. After that, he'll relax awhile, and then head back to Indonesia to plan for the trip ahead. Congratulations, and have fun my friend.

19th April Serene's Birthday

The day of the birth of our club's ex-secretary has come while she is at the Victoria University of Wellington (that's in New Zealand). Best wishes from all here at home. Hope that you will have a fun time with your new friends.

Miss Ng Xuan Hui has Come Home

It's already the 22nd April, and she has returned. Haven't heard much from her yet, still recovering from jetlag I suppose. What will she do now that she's back? Maybe she'll join Wendy and be a professional bummer.

What Will Wendy's New Job Be?

We have heard and apologise for the mistake, Wendy did not change jobs, just departments in the SIM. Still, by this week, she would have left, to pursue her professional bumming career. Good luck for the interviews!

Farhan in OCS, Darren 1 SIR

Farhan made it into the Officer Cadet School, cool! I believe he owe's us a treat! Darren is at the First Singapore Infantry Regiment, that's for the latest of our info on the NS boys, I mean men. Eugene is still at Tekong, and Calvin Sim, in training for some medical position.

Kartik's Loboing

From some stroke of fate, Kartik was sent to the signals school, where he was informed that he and 65 others had been sent there by mistake. As such our friend has since been posted out as a guard at the gate, and will only resume his signals course 2 month's from now. The only benefit is that now he gets to sleep at home ...

Reena's Teaching

Reena has since decided to aid in the development of the future leaders of Singapore. Teaching a class, she complains that the guys are all very vain, and too tall. In her free time, she gives tuition to her cousins (for free!!) and bemoans the fact that it is difficult getting a scholarship. I understand only too well ...
