Our Organization

"Families of SilkAir MI185 Association" is a Singapore registered non-profit organization. It was formed by the families of those passengers and crew who perished while traveling on board SilkAir flight MI185. The Boeing 737-300 crashed into the Musi River in Palembang, Indonesia on 19^th December, 1997 and killed all 104 people.

The goals and missions of the organization are :

To provide moral support and encouragement to family members of SilkAir MI185 crash victims
To assist in ensuring that investigations into the crash of SilkAir MI185 on 19^th December, 1997 is comprehensive and ongoing until the reasons for the crash are made known publicly
To promote aviation safety
