Well, this is the first time I have heard a solo bass album. And since
this is only solo bass, one can't expect to find more than the sounds from a four-string
bass guitar. So I must say there ain't very rich music, but the fact that Victor Wooten is
dubbed the "Best Jazz Guitarist" by Guitar Magazine says a lot about this
production. You would be surprised at how Wooten can make the bass guitar become a lead
instrument. The funky grooves, jazz improvisations, rock and classical licks are all
attempts by Wooten to visualize the deeper meanings of life. Though not the commoner's
taste, I believe most of you would find it pretty interesting...
Rating: Even my old granny enjoys it...
