Date : My first tank was setup on May 1997.
Volume : 6x2x2", around 680 liters or 180 US gallons.
Light : six Philips TLD Super865 36w, four Philips PLS865 11w
Filter : two Ehiem 2228, Fuval 303
Chiller : Teco 1hp.
CO2 : 2 bubble per second.
Subtract : Lonestar sand (2-3mm) about 2 inch and mix with latrite below at about 1 inch.
Fertilizer : PMDD 3ml per day.
Water change : automatic at 2 liters per hours using an overflow method.
Water parameter : Temperature=26C, ph=7, Kh=2dKh, NO3=5ppm, PO4=0.1ppm, Fe=0.1ppm.

Volume : 3x1.5x2", it is around 60 US gallons.
Filter : Ehiem 2229
Light : six Philips PL840 11w and two Philips TLD865 18w
CO2 : 2 bubble per second
Water change : Once per week at 30%.
Subtract : Lonestar sand (2-3mm) about 3 inch and NOTHING else.
Fertilizer : PMDD, 10ml per week.
Water parameter : Temperature=29C, ph=7, Kh=2dKh, NO3=0, PO4=0.1ppm, Fe=0.1ppm
