SUMMER COURSE IN RAMBOUILLET, FRANCE

Like 2007 and 2009, I am organizing a trip to France.

The idea is to learn French and visit some parts of the country.

The itinerary:

17 June: Depart from Singapore. Suggested flight: SQ334 departing at 23.55
 
18 June: Arrive Paris, CDG Airport (at 07.20)

Head for Rambouillet. Unpack.

Discovering the campus and the shopping center.

Lunch at the Institute.

Visit of the town of Rambouillet

Dinner in Rambouillet

19 June: Visit Paris

One-hour cruise on the Seine River

Lunch next to the Eiffel Tower

Visit the Cathedral of Notre-Dame and walking tour of the Marais.

Dinner at Flam's (To eat "La Flammekeuche")       

20 June: French lessons in the morning.

21 June: French lessons in the morning.

Afternoon: Experience 'La fête de la musique' in Paris!

22 June: French lessons in the morning.

Afternoon: Cooking workshop

23 June: French lessons in the morning.

Afternoon: visit the Château de Versailles.

24 June: French lessons in the morning.

13h30: Depart for Normandy by Minibus.

16h00: Visit of Monet's house in Giverny

19h00: Check-in for 2 nights in a hotel

Dinner at the hotel.

25 June: Weekend in Normandy (Mont Saint Michel and Dinan).

Visit 'Le Mont Saint Michel', the second most visited tourist destination in France, after the Eiffel Tower.

Lunch near Mont Saint Michel.

Guided tour of the Medieval town of Dinan.

Dinner at Dinan.

26 June: Visit the D-Day/Normandy Beaches and Arromanches

La Pointe du Hoc, Omaha beach and Arromanches.

Lunch in Caen.

On the way back to Rambouillet, visit one of the "plus beaux villages de France": Beuvron en Auge.

27 June: French lessons in the morning.

Afternoon: Enjoy the Summer Sales!

28 June: French lessons in the morning.

Afternoon: Visit Chartres and its cathedral.

29 June: French lessons  in the morning.

Afternoon: Visit of a snail farm!

30 June: French lessons  in the morning.

Afternoon: Wine tasting workshop.

1 July: French lessons  in the morning.

'Singapore Night' at the Institute. Party organized by us for the other students of the Institute, with Singaporean food and fun!

2 July: Depart from Paris. Suggested flight: SQ333 departing at 12.15
 

3 July: Arrive in Singapore
