TechnoTheatre is a new form of theatre that we have thought up of, and it involves the using of computers, rather extensively too. Music is done using the computer: midi music as well as the controlling of all sound sequences. The computer will also play a role in the play itself, it is used, connected to a projector, to project sets and costumes, as well as multimedia presentations. In all, the whole theatre experience centers on the use of computers, and the audience will find it quite refreshingly different. This form of theatre may not be new, and we may not be the first to think of it, but I can say that I haven't seen anyone in Singapore doing this yet. I hope that this form of theatre will take off, since computers are used so frequently in everyday life - why not in theatre too, as a new artform, unlimited by any physical boundaries.
